Faraj Suleiman (1984) is a Palestinian composer and pianist. His music has been heavily influenced by Arab and Middle Eastern melodies and rhythms. He often includes these scales and musical styles in his compositions. In addition to drawing inspiration from his Arab culture, he has also been majorly influenced by jazz traditions.

As an Arab musician and pianist educated in classical music, he is constantly seeking out new forms of expression to appeal equally to his “Eastern” and “Western” listeners. Up to now, Suleiman has composed several albums which have made the “Middle Eastern” piano the focal point of his composition, from solo piano compositions to quartets, quintets, choral arrangements and full orchestra pieces.

He has released several albums and musical projects, including: “ Login,” “Three Steps,” “Mud,” “Opening of the Palestinian Museum,” “Al-Bashiq,” “Love in the Cloud,” “Once Upon a City,” “Love Without a Story,” “Toy Box” and, more recently, his first album with songs accompanied by his own vocals: “Second Verse.” He also writes compositions for movies and theater.
