On Thursday, May 14, to mark the seventy-eighth anniversary of the Nakba, Casa Árabe, with the cooperation of the Palestinian Embassy in Spain, is presenting this feature film by Kaouther Ben Hania, Tunisia’s Oscar nominee. Reserve your seat here.

The Voice of Hind Rajab, by Kaouther Ben Hania (Tunisia-France, 89 min.) 
January 29, 2024. Volunteers from the Palestinian Red Crescent receive an emergency call. A six-year-old girl is trapped inside a car under fire in Gaza, pleading to be rescued. While trying to maintain phone contact with her, they do everything possible to send an ambulance. Her name: Hind Rajab. 

The Voice of Hind Rajab is the seventh feature film directed by Tunisian filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania. The film premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in early September 2025, where it won the Silver Lion for the Grand Jury Prize.It was selected to represent Tunisia for the Oscar for Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards. 

After the screening, a film colloquium will be held with Raúl Incertis from Doctors Without Borders.
