If stones could speak: Cordoba’s history and heritage through pillaged materials

On Thursday, January 30, Casa Árabe will host this seminar in Cordoba, which will focus on the use and reuse of pillaged materials related with the Umayyads, at an event both academic and for the general public’s information focusing on the reuse of materials, heritage and the identity of the city of Cordoba.
The seminar, which will last one day, is divided in two round table discussions that will address issues related to the protection, perception and enhancement of the city’s heritage.
The event has been organized with the cooperation of the CSIC’s Institute of History and is being coordinated by Jorge Elices, a Ramón y Cajal researcher.
