International Arabic Language Day

In order to mark this anniversary celebrated every year on December 18, Casa Árabe has organized a full schedule of activities, including calligraphy courses, storytelling and an open house at its Language Center, along with other events. Check them all out here.

The conference includes:

- Presentation of the “Arabic-Spanish Football Dictionary.” With the cooperation of LaLiga and the Cervantes Institute. This is a revised and enhanced edition that provides us with a full set of vocabulary about football in both languages. It will be taking place in Madrid on Thursday, December 1 at 10:30 a.m.

- Open House at the Arabic Language Center. In Madrid from December 16 to 18. It will include Arabic calligraphy familiarization workshops for children, given by Mohammad Sadeq Ale Isaac, and Storytelling sessions.

- Course on Thuluth style calligraphy, taught by Pablo Casado. In Madrid from December 16 to 18. An in-person course with two different levels: for beginners and those with prior knowledge. You can register now.

- Introduction of the Spanish Society of Arabic Language Teachers (SEDLA). Monday, December 19 in Madrid.
