Casa Árabe garden (at Calle Alcalá, 62 and Calle O’Donnell, 1). 9:00 p.m. Free entry until the event’s capacity is reached.

On the occasion of the presentation of the Festival of Diversity and Contemporary Culture, Iwa Fest 2024, two performances will be taking place in Madrid on Saturday, June 22, inside Casa Árabe’s garden.

The festival known as “Iwa Fest,” with which Casa Árabe has been collaborating since last year, will be presented in Madrid as a teaser for the full program to be held in Melilla this October.

The Moroccan band Jubantouja will be coming from the Atlas Mountains with its independent rock for the first time ever in Madrid. Also harking in from Morocco is Req Teq, a multi-instrumentalist producer, composer and DJ who will be offering a journey from Moroccan tribal rhythm with afro to groovy overtones.

In addition to the presentation and concerts scheduled in Madrid, Iwa Fest and Casa Árabe will be signing a collaboration protocol that will boost to the already established de facto collaboration between the two entities.

The third edition of Iwafest will be held in Melilla on October 4 and 5, creating a space where cultural manifestations from around the Mediterranean can converge, including film, literature and music, all side by side. This year’s musical offerings includes performances by Baiuca, Gaye Su Akyol, Imarhan and Lala Tamar. Advanced ticket sales are being carried out at iwafest.com and the platform Wegow.
