Exhibition of archeological items from the era of Al-Andalus at its headquarters in Cordoba Until March 2014
On Thursday, October 10, Casa Árabe will be officially opening this exhibition of archeological items from the era of Al-Andalus at its headquarters in Cordoba. The exhibition was organized with the cooperation of the Archeological Museum of Cordoba.
The opening event will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the institution’s exhibition hall and will include participation by Casa Árabe’s General Director, Eduardo López Busquets.
The exhibition was curated by María Dolores Baena, Director of the Archeological Museum of Cordoba, and Jose Escudero Aranda, Director of the Madinat al-Zahra Archeological Site. It was organized on the basis of five thematic fields related with the main factors in the adoption of Islam by the city of Cordoba as of the tenth century, and its reflection in the city’s material culture, as we can seen in the archeological pieces.
The exhibition can be seen until the month of March 2014, and the opening times are Monday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 6:30 p.m.; Sunday and holidays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Free entrance.
