Maghreb, the Arab Western in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid)

From May 4th to 28th, Casa Árabe shows this exhibition, formed by 58 large photographs which are accompanied by texts highlighting some relevant matters such as physical, human and economic geography from this region on the South of the Mediterranean.
The aim of the exhibition is to break or question the prevailing perceptions over the North of Africa, highlighting some matters such as closeness, internal diversity and the dynamism of the region's societies.
Place: Biblioteca Pública Municipal Cardenal Cisneros at Alcalá de Henares (Pza. San Julián, 1).
Time: Monday to Friday, from 8.35 to 21.40 and Saturday from 10.05 to 13.55. Free entrance.
