Maghreb, the Arab Western in Collado Villalba

Casa Árabe brings to Collado Villalba from 30th November 2010 to 8th January 2011 the exhibition Maghreb, the Arab Western, formed by 58 large photographs.
The photographs are accompanied by texts introducing various aspects of
the physical, human and economical geography to this South Mediterranean
region. The aim of the exhibition is to break or question the prevailing perceptions over the North of Africa, highlighting some matters such as closeness, internal diversity and the dynamism of the region's societies.
The exhibit is open from Tuesday to Friday, from 9.00 to 21:00, and Saturdays from 9.00 to 14.30, at the Local Library Miguel Hernández (Biblioteca Municipal Miguel Hernández) in Collado Villalba (Avda. Batalla de Bailén, 7). Free entrance.
