Magreb, the Arab Western

From March 1st to 31st, Casa Árabe brings to Algeciras an exhibition, formed by 58 large photographs, accompanied by texts introducing various aspects of the physical, human and economical geography to this South Mediterranean region.
The aim of the exhibition is to break or question the prevailing perceptions over the North of Africa, highlighting some matters such as closeness, internal diversity and the dynamism of the region's societies.
The exhibit is open at the Kursaal Building, Two Shores Foundation [Fundación Dos Orillas] in Algeciras (Avda. Villanueva, 2). From Monday to Friday, from 8.00 to 20.00. Free entrance.
