At the event, those attending will examine the experiences and current trends in Halal and Muslim Friendly tourism, as well as the opportunities it is offering to the hospitality industry in Europe. The meeting, which will be held fully in English, will consist of two initial speeches, first analyzing the latest data from the sector of Halal and Muslim-friendly tourism, with Jorge Traver (ETOA), and secondly the main requirements for certification in the tourism industry, with Meryeme El Betar (Halal International Tourism). After these presentations, a practical session on experiences will be held, with the participation of the Hotel Hesperia Córdoba, Indonesia’s Umrah + Tours, the Cordoba Palace of Congresses and the Chiangmai Rajabhat University of Thailand.
