On Thursday, October 27 in Cordoba, we have organized a meeting with actress Mina El Hammani in conjunction with the city’s School of Dramatic Art. She will be speaking about her career as an actress and how her family origins have influenced her. Come and enjoy!

The event, which will be taking place in the auditorium of the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático (ESAD) in Cordoba, is intended to give actors, directors and playwrights in training, as well as general audiences, the chance to learn more about Mina El Hammani’s experience in the audiovisual and entertainment industry, which has been notably marked by her family origins.

During the event, we will be discussing the perspective of Spanish fiction in dealing with characters of Arab origin, the visibility of certain cultural aspects and the main handicaps which arise when discussing “non-normative” profiles in the field of acting.

The conference, presented by Javier Rosón, Casa Árabe’s coordinator in Cordoba, and moderated by Marcos de la Fuente, will end with a question-and-answer session in which those attending get the chance to speak with Mina El Hammani about any questions that arose during the event.
