Casa Árabe collaborates with the Fourth San Sebastian de los Reyes Cinema and Human Rights Festival, organized by the city council where it takes place from November 30th to December 2nd.
The Festival tackles through documentary and fiction films various unfair realities. Casa Árabe presents Microphone, by Ahmad Abdallah (Egypt, 2010, 120 minutes), a full-length film about very active young people of the underground art scene of the city of Alexandria who forecast the Arab revolutions subversive power.
The film will be introduced by Nuria Medina, Casa Árabe’s Coordinator of Cultural Programmes.
Place and time: Thursday December 1st. Centro Joven Sanse (Avenida de Valencia, 3. San Sebastián de los Reyes). 19.00. Free entrance. Original version subtitled in Spanish.
