Middle Eastern Dance Courses
From March 01, 2013 until March 16, 2013
Starting on March 7, you can sign up for our intensive Middle Eastern Dance courses, which will be taking place on Saturday, March 16 at the Casa Árabe headquarters in Cordoba.
The classes will be taught by Zuel, one of the most acclaimed Middle Eastern dancers in Europe. With extensive training in the stage arts and a lengthy career, he is passionate about teaching and Arab culture. As a teacher, he is successful at passing his excitement, technique, beauty, respect and admiration on to his students. His teaching method is unique, and he is not only concerned with teaching how to dance and understand Middle Eastern dance, but also with feeling and expressing dance’s emotion. He is the founder of the cultural journal Añil Danza Oriental.
This course for “Beginners’ Middle Eastern Dance” will be held at Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Cordoba (address: Calle Samuel de los Santos Gener, 9) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This discipline helps discover the beauty and features of one of mankind’s most ancient and exotic types of dance.
The second course is the intermediate level of “Khaliji Dance,” an entertaining journey of the senses to the Persian Gulf through dance. It will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Cordoba headquarters, as well.
You may register for the course from March 7-14, from Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Cordoba. The registration fee for the course is 30 euros, and the number of students is limited.
