The European Commissioner for Energy and Climate Action takes part in a new Casas Network event
On March 23, Casa América hosted yet another breakfast colloquium which included participation by Miguel Arias Cañete, the European Commissioner for Energy and Climate Action, forming part of the Casas Network Forum.
Also taking part in the event were José Manuel García-Margallo, Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation; Antonio Llardén, the president of Enagás, Carlos Collantes, the president of Inelfe, and, as the moderator, Casimiro García Abadillo, the director of El Mundo.

Casas Network Forum
On February 13, the directors of the six Casas for public diplomacy (Casa de América, Casa Árabe, Casa África, Casa Asia, Casa Mediterráneo and Casa Sefarad-Israel) signed a protocol to create the Casas Network Forum. The High Representative of the European Union, Federica Mogherini, was the first to take part in this forum, on February 16. The second activity carried out by the forum was a breakfast colloquium with Ángel Gurría, Secretary General of the OECD.
