Music of the Ramadan Nights Festival
From October 04, 2010 until November 01, 2010
Casa Árabe TV has two videos of the concerts of the Ramadan Nights Festival 2010, with Kamel el-Harrachi and Oum, which took place in Madrid on 2nd and 3rd September.
Son of the famous composer Dahmane Amrani el Harrachi, Kamel el-Harrachi is heir to the Algerian chaabi style, as well as an innovator and a greatly talented artist. In this video, he plays the famous song “Ya rayah”, which was written by his father.
The singer Oum, representative of the new Moroccan musical scene, is aligned with eclecticism due to her soul, funk, disco music, fusion, jazz and rhythm and blues influences, without forgetting her roots.
The Ramadan Nights Festival took place in Madrid, from September 2nd to 10th, and has also been displayed in the Canary Islands, where it was organised with the collaboration of Casa Africa for the second year in a row, and in Alicante, where it counted with Casa Mediterráneo’s support.
