This exhibition that Casa Árabe brings to Melilla compiles up to a hundred of commercial posters from the period which are related to the attraction and fascination of the Arab Orient as a publicity lure.
From Carlos Velasco’s collection, it is a representative selection of one of the lesser known areas of the romantic Orientalism applied to commercial publicity, particularly to our unique Al-Andalus Orient which enjoys a special central position.
Exhibition inauguration will take place on May 17th at 20.00.
Place: UNED Melilla (c/ Lope de Vega, 1).
Time: Monday to Friday, from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 17.00 to 21.00. Free entrance.
