June 1 to June 27 will be the registration period for our intensive Arabic courses for both adults and children, which this summer are offered both in person and online. The courses will be taking place from July 1 to 28.

In the month of July, Casa Árabe is offering a new series of intensive and semi-intensive courses in Modern Standard Arabic, conversation, Moroccan Darija and Levantine Arabic. The courses intended for people who want to begin learning Arabic, who want to take a refresher course on the Arabic they already know or gain new momentum in just a few weeks, and those who seek to strengthen their spoken Arabic. There are beginners’ courses and conversation classes for children ranging in age from 6 to 12.

In order to maintain the highest levels of safety from Covid for our students and teachers, the in-person classes will be given in small groups (no more than 8 students), in spacious, constantly ventilated classrooms and in open spaces, as well as adhering to the measures recommended by the health authorities (social distancing, hand hygiene and face masks).

The courses consist of 30 class hours and are offered in intensive (30 hours across two weeks) or semi-intensive (30 hours per month) formats, in both mornings and afternoons/evenings. The fees for our in-person courses (30 hours) are 210 euros for adults and 181 euros for children, whereas the fee for the remote courses has been kept at the reduced rate of 180 euros for adults and 156 euros for children.

In-person classes will be held at our headquarters in Madrid (at Calle Alcalá, 62). The remote classes are held via video conference using the Teams platform, with texting, a virtual whiteboard and online chat. You just need a computer that is hooked up to the Internet. For any group assignments and greater satisfaction in using this tool, we recommend sharing an email address with your classmates, which may be your personal email or an account created specifically for the classes.

You must complete your registration online. All students are given a user name and password to access their private online space, where they can track their registration status, look up student records and carry out other procedures.

If you already know some Arabic, in order to sign up for courses of level AME I B or higher, you must take the free online placement test, and we will give you your test results immediately.

Plus, all Language Center students get discounts on tickets at the Casa Árabe cinema and the Balqís Bookstore.

You can find all of the information on our courses (schedules, registration, etc.) in the Language Center section of the Casa Árabe website.
