As part of the program “Culture for Peace: Spain-Palestine” organized by the Spanish Ministry of Culture and the Embassy of Palestine in Spain, Casa Árabe is contributing with this exhibition, which you can see in Madrid from March 27 to May 25.

The exhibition, curated by Palestinian illustrator Mohamed Sabaaneh and Pedro Rojo, president of the Al Fanar Foundation, brings together pieces by different Palestinian artists whose graphic works reject the dominant discourse on Palestine, altering colonial portrayals while providing a different viewpoint.

It is an exhibition which acts as so much more than just an art display, because it also stands as an affirmation of existence, a challenge to hegemony and a testament to the enduring power of the Palestinian narrative.

It includes works by  Leila Abdelrazaq; IasminOmar Ata; Sara Shehadeh; Hassan Manasrah; Hamza AbuAyyash; Khaled Jarrada; Shahd Alshamali; Dania Omari; Samir Harb; and Mohammed Sabaaneh.
