Palestinian nakba commemoration

Casa Árabe organizes two events, on May 15th in Cordoba and May 16th in Madrid, to commemorate the Palestinian Nakba, the catastrophe of 1948 which saw the participation of the territory of Palestine under British Mandate and the dispersion of its native population.
May 15th has become a national day for the Palestinian people, whether they live on their homeland or abroad. On that day, 1948 catastrophe is commemorated, the nakba, the event which generated the partition of the Palestinian territory under British rule and the dispersion of its native population.
On this event, Casa Árabe commemorates the nakba through a round table where topics such as how political changes in the region bear on the Palestinian issue.
This event, which will be hosted at Casa Árabe’s headquarters (c/ Alcalá, 62) in Cordoba (c/ Samuel de los Santos Gener, 9 -esquina c/ Velázquez Bosco con Plaza de la Agrupación de las Cofradías-) at 19:30. Free entrance.
