From April 1 to 29, we are offering a 30-hour intensive course to
prepare for the exams given by Spain’s Official Language School and
other similar degrees. Sign up now: classes will be given online until
confinement has ended.
This course is intended for individuals who already possess knowledge of the Arabic language and want to prepare for the official Arabic language exams given by the Language School and other similar institutions. The goal is two-fold: on the one hand, students will be able to consolidate their prior linguistic knowledge while, at the same time, they can prepare to pass an official exam.
Throughout ten preparatory classes lasting three hours each, we will review the strategies and mechanisms which are required to demonstrate reading, oral, grammatical and lexical skills for each exam level. Similarly, students will be taught a series of discursive expressions and linguistic formulas which allow them to understand and know how to express themselves in a variety of communicative situations from everyday life.
Using drills in written and oral comprehension, and by simulating exams held under real conditions, we will help candidates prepare for the various tests. Moreover, they will learn to structure and express their ideas in Arabic, strengthen their knowledge and organize their thoughts for the oral exam.
The course will be held from April 1-29. The tuition for the course, like all other Arabic Language Center courses, is 210 euros, with a reduced rate of 180 euros for students and the unemployed. To see the different schedules which are available, you can go to our list of course offerings.
As long as institutions remain closed due to confinement, our classes will be given online via Skype. As soon as we are able to, we will resume our live courses in the classroom. Teachers will remain in contact with their students by email in order to coordinate all issues involved in holding the classes. Students must have a computer with a camera and speakers to get online from home, as well as downloading the Skype app so that they can join the classes with the teacher and all of their classmates. Resources and materials will be shared through the students’ private online area in the Arabic Language Center’s digital platform.
