The European Green Heritage project’s Community of Practice will hold its fourth webinar on 26 June, dedicated to best practices in research and cooperation, featuring Ivo Oosterbeek (Mapa Das Ideias, Portugal) and Sara Nasi (Mapa Das Ideias, Portugal). Register here to take part.
The webinar will provide an overview of the objectives, methodology and structure of this selection of best practices, designed to highlight effective approaches to collaboration, knowledge sharing and sustainable heritage management. It will also demonstrate how this work contributes to the creation of a shared knowledge base that fosters collaboration, training and the development of future projects at a European level.
Following the presentation of the handbook by Ivo Oosterbeek and Sara Nasi, the webinar will feature representatives from some of the selected initiatives in the field of international research and cooperation, one of the four thematic areas around which the handbook of good practices is structured. These organisations will share their first-hand experiences, the challenges they have faced, the solutions implemented and the main results achieved, offering a practical insight into how cultural heritage and environmental sustainability can be effectively integrated in different contexts.
The webinar will also include an open discussion with participants and representatives from national offices for European programmes, who will offer their perspectives on the opportunities and challenges of international cooperation. This exchange, centred on the practices presented, will strengthen the Community of Practice as a forum for professionals, researchers, cultural agents and key players in the European ecosystem committed to sustainability, heritage and innovation.
Some of the selected initiatives:
- Red de Medinas (Spain)
- ARCHAEOWILD Project (Serbia)
- FEENERT (Spain and Portugal)
- FASIH - Future, Art, Science, Industrial Heritage (Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia)
- Youth and heritage: tradition and future in the cross-border region
- Incredible destination events (Hungary and Serbia)
