The Green Heritage Community of Practice will be holding its third webinar on 28 May, featuring Jelena Andjelkovic (IAB, Serbia), Zrinka Mileusnić (University of Primorska, Slovenia) and Irena Lazar (University of Primorska, Slovenia). Sign up now to take part!

The webinar will be taking a close look at the teaching approach developed by the GreenHeritage project, an innovative educational methodology that combines sustainability, environmental awareness and both cultural and natural heritage, using active, participatory methods. Moreover, the project’s online collection of educational materials will be presented: it has been designed as a platform with resources and tools meant to support interdisciplinary learning experiences intended specifically for young people between the ages of 13 and 18.

During the session, the speakers will be sharing some of the methodologies, digital resources and pilot experiences cooperatively developed by the consortium over the first 18 months of the project, highlighting the potential held by heritage and environmental education in fostering green, digital and social skills.

The webinar will also include an open discussion with those participating, thereby bolstering the Community of Practice as a forum for exchanges amongst professionals, researchers and educational and cultural stakeholders interested in sustainability, heritage and innovation in teaching.
