On Thursday, January 19, Casa Árabe, the Embassy of Morocco in Spain and the Malakat Association are organizing this event, with the participation of different individuals belonging to the second generation of descendants of immigrant families in Spain.

Those participating will be talking about their contributions and reflections to contribute to the awareness of an intercultural, fair and egalitarian society.

The day will begin with remarks by Morocco's ambassador to Spain, Karima Benyaich, and Casa Árabe’s General Director, Irene Lozano. Afterwards, a round table will begin with the participation of Mohamed El Ben, an influencer and the founder of Bushido Talent; Hajar Brown, actress; Farid El Ouazizi, entrepreneur and founder of the Amazingh clothing portal and Level hair salon; and Hanaa el Assla, manager and account manager at Chaabi Bank Madrid. The moderator will be Anissa Filali, a social mediator and early childhood education teacher.

Thereafter, the "Malakat Room for intergenerational dialogue" will be presented. This is a space for dialogue and interaction between the first and second generations of migrants in Spain, conceived as a pioneering and innovative experience to create a new culture of communication and promote stable values that help second generation citizens grow up with positive role models. The third part of the event will be a dramatized reading of the text ''Inspiration',” created through theater workshops with unaccompanied minors.

The evening will end with a tribute to Achraf Hakimi, a Spanish-Moroccan soccer player belonging to the second generation, for his brilliant work in the 2022 World Cup, and it will end with a musical piece.

The event can be watched live on our YouTube channel.

This event was organized by the Malakat Association, a non-governmental organization whose main purpose is to promote the socio-cultural and professional participation of young people from diverse backgrounds. Its main tool is
