Representation and leadership in Spanish Muslim communities

Round table to close the course Islam and Muslims: historical dimension and contemporary dynamics, organized by Casa Árabe and the Spanish Diplomatic School (Escuela Diplomática).

Among the participants in the conference are Mohamed Ali, president of the Spanish Federation of Islamic Religious Entities and Secretary General of the Islamic Commission of Spain,  Mohammed Chaib, Member of the Parliament  of Catalonia and founder of the Ibn Batuta Sociocultural Association, Rachid Boutarbouch, president of the Spanish League of Imams, and Riay Tatari-Bakry, president of the Union of Islamic Communities in Spain and Secretary General of the Islamic Commission of Spain.

José Manuel López Rodrigo, director of the Pluralism and Coexistence Foundation, will moderate the discussion. The course directors, Gema Martín Muñoz, Casa Árabe's Director General, and José María Ferré de la Peña, Ambassador for Relations with Muslim Communities and Organizations Abroad, will give the closing speech to end the course.
