Request your Aula Árabe Universitaria 7 certificate now
From May 22, 2026 until September 30, 2026
If you are a university student and have attended more than 40% of the conferences in the Aula Árabe Universitaria series throughout the 2025–26 academic year, you can now request your certificate to accredit your attendance. Read about how to obtain it below.
As proof of the knowledge gained on this journey into the Arab world formed by Aula Árabe Universitaria, students who have attended over 40% of the conferences in the series during the 2025–26 academic year (in other words, at least seven conferences) can now request the Aula Árabe Universitaria 7 Certificate using this form.
The certificate will be sent by email in PDF format to those who request it.
How do you prove you have attended the conferences?
Students at universities in the Autonomous Region of Madrid must provide proof of in-person attendance through the “Passport to the Arab World,” which is stamped upon entry into the conferences.
Take a photo or scan the passport and attach it to your application when filling out the form. The passport provided as proof of identity must be personalized. In other words, it must include the student’s first and last names.
Students from other regions, including those in programs associated with Aula Mediterránea, must provide proof of attendance online (in other words, they must have registered their attendance during the live-streamed session of each conference using the form provided at that time in the chat section of Casa Árabe’s YouTube channel, where the conference was broadcast). To do so, simply indicate on the form which lectures you attended, and this information will be cross-checked against the online attendance records for each conference.
Also counting towards this are the conferences by Aula Mediterrània, with whom we have a partnership, showing that you attended online, as well (up to a maximum of two conferences). If applicable, you can also indicate this on the form, specifying which Aula Mediterrània conferences you attended online. This information will also be cross-checked against the records maintained by IEMed, the organizer of that conference series.
Aula Árabe Universitaria
Aula Árabe Universitaria (AAU) is an inter-university cooperation program organized by Casa Árabe with the cooperation of the Universities of Madrid and Cordoba and nearby cities, with the goal of promoting knowledge about the Arab and Islamic world, as well as complementing and enriching the education offered by the various associated university programs, promoting interdisciplinary dialogue, and offering students, faculty and researchers the chance to connect with internationally renowned speakers and experts on various subjects related with the Arab world.
We are preparing the upcoming edition (AAU8) for the next academic year of 2026-27 with new topics and speakers.
