The objective of this gathering is to relaunch economic relations and
create a closer relationship amongst political, economic and
business-related institutions.
This Second Business Forum, organized by Cinco Días with the cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce, CEOE, ICEX and Casa Árabe, is intended to present the business opportunities offered by Arab countries to Spanish companies in the industries of tourism, agriculture and foods, infrastructure construction and renewable energy.
The emerging nature of the Arab countries’ economies, their increasing capacity for demand due to their demographic profile and the availability of financial resources, makes this part of the planet so close to Spain a very considerable opportunity for mutual cooperation.
Throughout the day on June 12, a debate panel is being held on each of these countries, with the participation of institutional representatives from the Arab countries, business representatives from different industries and researchers and advisors on economic internationalization.
The event will be closed by the Ambassador of Algeria in Spain, Mohamed Hanèche, and later, at the Wellington Hotel, the businesspeople taking part in the meeting will get the chance to hold B2B sessions with institutional representatives from the various participating Arab countries, as well as with business managers from these countries.
