Special Dossier on the Expansion of Health Care in the Gulf
From June 17, 2013 until September 01, 2013
Casa Árabe is publishing a report on the latest projects started up in the Gulf countries’ health care industry. It can be accessed on the Casa Árabe Economics and Business website.
The countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council have been making important
investments in the field of health care in recent years. One of its
priorities is to expand and improve upon the offering of health care
services, given the increase in its population and purchasing power, at
the same time as a greater rate of certain diseases and an increase in
the demand for specialized services. In hospital construction projects
alone, whether in the planning or construction stages, more than 35
billion dollars will be spent, thereby producing a huge demand for
services, equipment, technology and products related with the health
care industry.
