Tarik Banzi Ensemble Concerts

Casa Árabe organizes in Cordoba, Malaga and Seville three concerts by Tarik Banzi Ensemble.
In Cordoba, the concert is part of the Flamenco White Night and it is carried out in collaboration with the city hall, whereas in Malaga the concert is due to the collaboration of the Malaga Contemporary Art Centre.
Tarik Banzi Ensemble is an internationally well known group because of its amalgamation of unique creativity, able to cover a wide range from the exquisite to folklore and from the passionate to refined. It is directed by the Moroccan oud (lute) player Tarik Banzi.
Apart from Tarik Banzi, among the participants are Julia Banzi, ethnomusicologist specialized in flamenco and Andalusian music; Charlie Bisharat, one of the best violinists from the West Coast of the United States; the Spanish "bailaora" (flamenco dancer) Laura Dubroca, and Jorge Pardo, as invited guest in Cordoba.
In Cordoba, the concert will take place in plaza de Abades at 2.30 a.m., 19th to 20th June, Saturday to Sunday night. Free entrance.
In Malaga, the show will be at the Exhibition Hall of the Malaga Contemporary Art Centre (c/ Alemania, s/n) at 20.00, 20th June, and admission is free, open to the public according to space availability.
In Seville, the concert will take place in Alcaldía de Triana (c/ San Jacinto, s/n) at 22:00 h., 21st June. Admission is free.
