Casa Árabe has organized this workshop on the occasion of the
presentation of the Diccionario de árabe marroquí (Dictionary of
Moroccan Arabic) by Jesús Greus and Naíma Lahrach, published by Bubok
Editorial.
The workshop is designed for students of this Arabic dialect. The author, Jesús Greus, and Said Kirlani, a teacher at the Arabic Language Center, will be presenting the dictionary, the process of its creation and several interesting entries in the dictionary, then discussing how it is used, the morphology and lexical richness of the dialect, with practical exercises on translation by levels, in which the students will be participating.

Jesús Greus
Jesús Greus is a writer, conference speaker, musician and translator. He has published several works of fiction and informational books intended for the general public on Al-Andalus and Morocco. He was the cultural manager of the Cervantes Institute in Marrakesh, a city where he lived for 15 years. Amongst his works published on Arab themes, the most notable are: Así vivieron en Al-Ándalus (So They Lived in Al-Andalus, Anaya, 2009); Laberinto de aljarafes. Cuentos morunos (Labyrinth of Rooftops: Moorish tales ,Editorial Sirpus, 2008); Ziryab y el despertar de al-Andalus (Ziryab and the Awakening of Al-Andalus, Entre Libros, 2006), and De soledades y desiertos (On Societies and Deserts, Ediciones La Avispa, 2001).
