Hamid Dabashi, Hegop Kavorkian proffesor in Iranian Studies and Compared Literature at Columbia University in New York, offered on April 13th in Madrid a speech on recent changes in the ways of expression that have come to light during the anti-establishment actions in Iran and in the Arab countries
Dabashi is also founder of the Center for Palestine Studies, within the same University, and Series Editor of Literatures and Cultures of the Islamic World for Palgrave Macmillan. He has written 20 books and more than 100 essays on Iranian studies, compared literature, world cinemas and Art Philosophy.
