The Spanish architecture exhibition reaches Tunisia

From December 04, 2015 until January 08, 2016
SIDI BOU SAID, TUNISIA
National Architecture and Urban Planning School (ENAU)

“On a Journey: Spanish Architecture in the Arab World” can be seen at the National Architecture and Urban Planning School (ENAU) in Sidi Bou Said.

This exhibit, produced by Casa Árabe and the Superior Council of Architects’ Associations of Spain (CSCAE) has been presented in Tunisia thanks to the support of the Cervantes Institute and the Embassy of Spain in Tunisia, as well as the interest demonstrated by Tunisia’s National Architecture and Urban Planning School, which has provided its exhibition halls for the show.

The exhibition provides information on the projects by Spanish architecture firms and studios carried out in Arab countries. It is the result of many fine examples of successful work towards internationalization that make a huge contribution to positioning and strengthening the Spain Brand abroad.

Amongst those shown in this exhibition, it will be possible to view projects by well-known architectural studios such as Nieto Sobejano, Fenwick Irribarren, Lamela, César Ruiz Larrea, Rafael de la Hoz and Campo Baeza, alongside another series of younger studios which have committed to internationalization in the Arab world, as is the case of AGI Arquitectos, Hadit and AV62. Also represented are some of Spain’s most significant engineering firms: Alatec, Sener, Idom and TYPSA, all present in the Arab world for several decades now.
