This summer, come learn Arabic with us!

From June 01, 2022 until June 20, 2022
Casa Árabe headquarters in Madrid (at Calle Alcalá, 62) and the Teams platform.

From June 1 to 20, we will allow students to register for intensive and semi-intensive Arabic courses, which they can take either online or in person, for adults and children. Learn through an innovative method with the best teachers at Casa Árabe.

Summer courses, which last one month or two weeks and can be taken online or in person (by video conferencing from home), will be held from July 1 to July 29 (see dates and times by course). You can complete your registration from June 1 through 20, including both of those dates.

In July, Casa Árabe is offering a new set of intensive and semi-intensive Arabic courses, both online and in person, in small groups (6-10 students) for adults and children in July: Modern Standard Arabic (AME), Conversation (CONAME), Chat (new!), and Dialects (Moroccan Darija, Egyptian and Levantine).

The courses intended for people who want to begin learning Arabic, who want to take a refresher course on the Arabic they already know or gain new momentum in just a few weeks, and those who seek to strengthen their spoken Arabic. For children there are beginner, immersion and conversational Arabic courses for kids aged 3 to 12.

The courses consist of 30 class hours and are offered in intensive (30 hours across two weeks) or semi-intensive (30 hours in one month) schedules, in both mornings and afternoons/evenings. To consult our offering of courses click here.

About the course fees: new beneficiaries of our reduced rates
We have new discounts for large families and public administration personnel. The ordinary fee for our regular courses (students over the age of 12) will continue to be 210 euros for in-person classes and 195 for remote/online classes, whereas the reduced free (for students, the unemployed and civil servants working for bodies of the Public Administration) will remain 180 euros for both course types. As for our children’s courses (for students from 3 to 12 years old), the ordinary fee will be 180 euros, or 156 euros with a discount (children with siblings also registered, large families and the children of active civil servants working for bodies of the Public Administration; no more than one discount may be applied).

You can buy your textbooks with a 5% discount at Casa Árabe’s Balqís bookstore, and make your entire purchase online.

The remote classes are held via video conference using the Teams platform, with texting, a virtual whiteboard and online chat. You just need a computer that is hooked up to the Internet. For any group assignments and greater satisfaction in using this tool, we recommend sharing an email address with your classmates, which may be your personal email or an account created specifically for the classes.

You must complete your registration online. All students will be assigned a user name and password to access to their private online space, where they can check their course registration status, view their academic records and carry out other procedures. If you already have some knowledge of Arabic, please take our free online test to find out what level you should sign up for.

Remember to register before all our classes are full! The groups will be closed when the maximum number of students is reached. Students will be assigned to courses in chronological order as their registration forms are received, and no students will be allowed to register after the deadline.

All Language Center students get discounts on Casa Árabe movie tickets, and at the Balqís bookshop.
