What's happening now?
From May 26, 2010 until September 30, 2010
Within the frame of PhotoEspaña 2010, this collective exhibit was inaugurated by Casa Árabe on 9th June, at 20.30. Pieces from some of the most relevant contemporary Egyptian artists will be displayed.
These works have been selected by the exhibit representative, Mohamed Talaat. Videos and photographs offer a kaleidoscope image of the current Egyptian society, reflected through the interests and concerns of eleven artists from that country.
This exhibit is prepared in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and brings us closer to the current country, which has a great reserve of visual artists that are still quite unknown in Spain.
Until October 5th in the exhibition halls at Casa Árabe in Madrid (c/ Alcalá, 62). Monday to Saturday, from 11.00 to 20.00; Sunday and public holidays, from 11.00 to 15.00. Free admission.
