On May 22, with the help of SextoMario, we will be hosting this activity which involves creating solid perfumes using the artisanal techniques developed by perfumers in the times of of Al-Andalus. Reserve your place now to participate in the first workshop of the season!
In the world of Al-Andalus, the search for earthly paradise led to the creation of widespread gardens with flowers and aromatic plants, many brought in from the East along with the Muslim conquerors. This custom extended to the use of perfumes, especially among the wealthy upper classes, with the resulting development of a perfume manufacturing industry.
At this workshop, we will talk about the most common perfumes from the times of of Al-Andalus, and we will get the chance to experience these ancient aromas by producing solid perfumes using the artisanal techniques developed by the perfumers of of Al-Andalus.
All of the materials are provided by the organizers and are free of charge.
