This fall, we will be offering a new set of courses, both in person and
online, for adults and children. You can complete your registration from
September 1 through 22.
Starting in the month of October, the Arabic courses will be taught both live in the classroom and through remote learning, so that you can learn Arabic at Casa Árabe from wherever you feel most at ease. This new period of classes will begin on October 1 and ends on December 21. You can complete your registration from September 1 through 22, including both of those dates.
We will continue to offer our regular wide range of courses in Modern Standard Arabic and Arabic dialects (Moroccan Darija and Levantine Arabic), as well as conversation courses, and classes for children (from 3 to 12 years old). For the first time ever, we will also be offering special courses to prepare for university exams and children’s classes for kids between the ages of 8 and 12.
Fees
We have some good news, as well:
- We are maintaining the same low prices for our in-person courses at Casa Árabe, but now our groups will be smaller (for purposes of social distancing, classes will have just 5 to 10 students).
- The fees will be lowered for our remote courses.
- The discounts for students are being expanded (now there is no age limit) and for everyone beginning to study Arabic with us for the first time (MSA I A).
In today’s world, here at the Language Center, we would like to make the utmost effort so that the greatest possible number of people can access Arabic studies with us.
The regular course fee will remain 210 euros, with a reduced rate for students, the unemployed and beginners’ courses in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA I A), and remote courses, at 180 euros per quarter (the quarter consists of 30 course hours). Our children’s courses, now also 30 hours per month, will cost 181 euros, or 156 euros with discounts for children who have siblings registered, as well, and for remote courses.
Schedules
The classes are given in sessions of three hours per week (Mondays and Wednesdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, or Fridays) during our morning hours (10:00 to 11:30 a.m.) or the afternoon/evening schedule (4:30, 5:30, 6:00 or 7:30 p.m.), as well as courses given on Saturday mornings.
Our remote classes are also given on Sunday mornings, in the intensive course for beginners. The classes are taught by video conference, with a chat, virtual whiteboard and online conversation. All you need is a computer to connect with the teacher and all of your classmates.
Online registration
All students will be assigned a user name and password to access to their private online space, where they can check their course registration status, view their academic records and carry out other procedures.
If you already have some knowledge of Arabic, please take our free online test to find out what course you should sign up for.
Remember to register before all of the classes are full!
The groups will be closed when the maximum number of students is reached. Students will be assigned to courses in chronological order as their registration forms are received, and no students will be allowed to register after the deadline.
Plus...
All Language Center students are also given discounts on tickets for Casa Árabe film screenings, and at the Balqís bookshop and Shukran, Casa Árabe’s restaurant.
If you are already a Language Center student, to avoid having to enter all of your personal information each quarter, you can retrieve your data by typing in the user name and password you created in the previous quarter. If you have forgotten your user name, you may request it by sending us an e-mail message at (centrodelengua@casaarabe.es). If you have forgotten your password, you have to reset it in your private student area. Because this information is private, the Language Center is unable to provide it.
You can find all of the information on our courses (schedules, registration, etc.) in the Language Center section of the Casa Árabe website.
