    Concert by Terez Sliman and Yazan Ibrahim

    On Thursday 24th November, Casa Árabe will hold a concert by the Palestinian singer Terez Sliman and the Syrian guitarist Yazan Ibrahim, two musical pioneers of the acoustic, hybrid genres and folk scene in the Levante. The session will take place in the framework of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, on 25 November.

    On Thursday, October 6, Casa Árabe has organized this music and storytelling show to mark the 1000th anniversary of Ibn Hazm’s “The Ring of the Dove.” Antonio Manuel (recitations) and La banda morisca (music) will take us back to this era through a fusion of Moorish and Berber melodies mixed with flamenco.
