The purpose of this meeting, held in Madrid on May 8, was to strengthen the cooperative ties between the two entities and explore new paths for cooperation in the field of intercultural dialogue, sustainable development and the promotion of the Mediterranean region.

The ACM is an independent initiative that seeks to address common challenges facing the Mediterranean, including demographic change, economic integration, food security, energy, and cultural cohesion, through a practical and collaborative approach. Unlike traditional institutional models, the Committee promotes grassroots solutions, bringing together experts, economists, scholar, and civil society representatives in order to create specific, realistic proposals.
