Agreement between Casa Árabe and the Diario As newspaper
On Thursday, September 15, the General Director of Casa Árabe, Irene
Lozano, and the director of the sports newspaper “As,” Vicente Jiménez,
reached an agreement to cooperate on Casa Árabe’s special programming
for the World Cup in Qatar.

This collaborative effort will be carried out to increase knowledge and relations between the Arab world and Spain using the universal language of sport. It is the first time in history that an Arab country is hosting the World Cup.
The celebration of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, beginning on November 20 and lasting until December 18, will be one of the starring features of Casa Árabe’s schedule of activities throughout the last quarter of the year. Because of this, Casa Árabe is strengthening its ties with a specialized media outlet of the importance and scope of Diario As, which will help increase awareness about stories on sports usually far outside of the sports media spotlight.
