Arabic calligraphy workshop for American students at Pablo de Olavide University in Seville

On Friday, February 7, the students will travel to Cordoba, where they will be visiting Casa Árabe’s headquarters in that city and take a beginners’ course taught by Professor Dima Yousef.

The exchange students at Pablo de Olavide University in Seville during the Spring semester will be traveling to Cordoba and Casa Árabe to complete a beginners’ course on Arabic calligraphy taught by the Arabic language teacher and Syrian-Palestinian poet Dima Yousef.

In order to gain more in-depth knowledge about the Islamic art which fills the streets of Cordoba, students will discover an essential part of the city’s history through the calligraphic pen, ink and blank page.

Warning: The workshop is intended only for students, so registration by other members of the public is not possible.
