Attack against “Charlie Hebdo”
The French weekly suffers a terrorist attack

In light of the vile, cowardly act of terrorism perpetrated against the headquarters of the French weekly “Charlie Hebdo” in Paris on January 7, the Government of Spain has expressed its utmost condemnation.
Likewise, it has expressed its condolences to the family members of the victims, authorities and the French people as a whole.
Spain reaffirms its steadfast commitment to freedom of the press as a fundamental, inalienable right, as well as its categorical rejection of any and all types of terrorist acts, regardless of the underlying motives.
