Casa Árabe and LaLiga have signed a cooperation agreement leading to the development of different joint projects in order to promote the values of Arab sports and culture.

The first of these initiatives will be “Football for Hope,” a Casa Árabe project which LaLiga will join, taking place throughout the fall, coinciding with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The program includes professional meetings, talks, exhibitions, movies

and outdoor sports and leisure activities, in addition to other offerings. The events will take place in different locations, including Madrid and Cordoba, where the institution has two headquarters.

The agreement strengthens LaLiga’s commitment to its development in the Middle East and North Africa region, one of the cornerstones in its international expansion. Since 2014, LaLiga has had a permanent office in Dubai, as well as a permanent international academy in the United Arab Emirates, officially opened one year later.
