The exhibition ”Retrospective: A decade of reacquainting with the Arab world,” held at Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Cordoba to mark its tenth anniversary, is a candidate for one of the awards given by the Association of Museologists and Museographers of Andalusia (AMMA). Vote for it now!

In all, the EXPONE Awards organizing committee has selected six exhibitions to vie for the Special Audience Prize. You can vote until June 8 at 2:00 p.m. Through these awards, AMMA seeks to promote increased awareness about community cultural projects and the transmission of the most cross-cutting, entertaining and educational museum experiences.


The exhibition “Retrospective: A decade of reacquainting with the Arab world,curated by Javier Rosón and Marcos de la Fuente, was organized into five “regional” categories (Al-Andalus, Spain and the Arab world, Maghreb, Mashreq and miscellaneous), with representatives from every country to have appeared in the institution’s exhibitions, namely: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Yemen. For the occasion, they selected works by more than 60 artists, whom we would like to thank for their interest, and for lending their works.
