Casa Árabe has contributed to the scheduling of two educational courses, which will be taking place from September to October 2016, as part of the Código Joven program of the Andalusian Youth Institute (IAJ), the goal of which is to promote, stimulate and work with Andalusian youths on democratic values and principles with a critical but constructive spirit.
The courses, to be taught by Ignacio Velarde (Zuel) and Rafael Blanco, will promote tolerance and respect for diversity (through one course titled “Middle Eastern Dance as a Tool for Cohesion Among Social Groups”), as well as critical thought and creativity (with another course titled “Archeology and Society: The memory of Islamic Cordoba”).
