Miguel Moro Aguilar, the General Director of Casa Árabe, and Olivia Orozco, the Training and Economics Coordinator at Casa Árabe, held a meeting with representatives of the public company Navantia to explore paths for cooperation with the shared goal of building bridges between Spain and Arab countries.

Some of the projects that the company is carrying out in Arab countries include the construction of three Avante 2200 corvettes for the Royal Saudi Navy, with delivery scheduled for 2028 and the creation of 2,000 jobs in the Bay of Cadiz. This program, identical to the previous project, includes the training of a hundred Saudi engineers and the completion of two units in Saudi Arabia, coupled with integrated logistical support.

Navantia is a leading Spanish public company in military and civil shipbuilding, with a strong international presence and a firm commitment to technological innovation. In recent years, the company has developed strategic projects in various Arab countries, contributing to the strengthening of the region’s maritime capabilities and the promotion of industrial cooperation. Its activity, which is key to defense, security and sustainability in the naval field, positions Navantia as a relevant player in the international projection of Spanish industry and in promoting collaboration with partners in the Arab world.
