Casa Árabe hosts the International Day of Diplomats 

This Friday, November 26 at the Casa Árabe headquarters in Madrid, we will be hosting the third edition of this event organized by the foundation Diplomatic Coalition. This time around, the topic will be “Adopting sustainable commitments.”

The event will bring together a large group of officials from the diplomatic corps, members of international organizations and representatives from the business world, with a view to promoting possible forms of collaboration between the public and private sectors involving the United Nations 2030 Agenda. Speakers will include:

• Fatma Omrani Chargui, the Ambassador of Tunisia in Spain;
• Hazar Sassi, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Tunisian Embassy in Spain; 
• María Cortés, Vice-President of Networks at the Sustainable Development Solutions Network,
• Natalia Sepúlveda, head of Marketing and Communications at APlanet, and
• Pilar Barroso, director of the Colegio Caude.

The purpose of the the International Day of Diplomats is to create a strategic platform for progress based on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17, to discuss achievement of the 2030 Agenda is discussed, with a perspective placed on the “Decade of Action,” as established by the United Nations in the diplomatic arena.
