The Association of Communication, Public Relations and Protocol of Cordoba (ACRP) has announced these awards in memory of Hasday Ibn Shaprut, a Judeo-Spanish politician, diplomat and patron who served Umayyad caliph Abderrahman III and is considered one of the first public relations specialists in history.

Through these awards, the ACRP would like to acknowledge the work by professionals and organizations that promote good practices in the fields of communication, public relations and protocol through their work. To that end, the jury has placed special value on communication management and awareness work carried out by the award-winners, who stand out for their promotion of Cordoba as a brand, as well as making life more dynamic in the province.

The winners of this edition are the Council of the Cordoba Cathedral and Cordoba’s El Corte Inglés store, which will be sharing this recognition as the most outstanding entities, along with the “Covid-19 Protocol Conference: Events to face the crisis,” as the best activity of the year; and the Rector of the University of Cordoba, José Carlos Gómez Villamandos, in acknowledgment of his entire career.
