MADRID
Casa Árabe and the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) held a meeting with the goal of exploring joint projects that would improve upon the technological and scientific cooperation between Spain and Arab countries. This collaboration seeks to highlight the synergy between the two territories in key fields such as technology transfer, industrial research, innovation and technological development. The meeting took place in Madrid on September 30.

In 2025, the CDTI will be spending a total of 1.942 billion euros on financing of R&D&I projects, thus consolidating its position as a fundamental pillar for business innovation in Spain. This strong momentum reflects Spain’s strategic commitment to innovation as an engine for growth, as well as promoting international cooperation in science and technology, above all with Arab countries, with whom cooperation has grown by 30% over the last five years, thereby strengthening strategic sectors and generating skilled employment.

The Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) is a Public Business Entity run under Spain’s Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Its main function is to promote innovation and technological development among Spanish companies, channeling requests for grants and support for research, development, and innovation projects at both the domestic and foreign levels.
