The days of events began on May 8 with a guided tour of the Medina Azahara Archeological Site, given by archeologist Carmen González from the University of Cordoba. That same afternoon, fellow archeologist Ana Valdivieso guided participants around various sites taking part in the Cordoba Festival of Patios, where they were able to familiarize themselves with Cordoba’s tangible and intangible heritage.

The next day, Casa Árabe hosted a meeting between the project Green Heritage and associations and institutions in Cordoba that work on the relationship between heritage and sustainability, including PAX - Patios de la Axerquía, Fundación Las Fuentes, Amigos de Medina Azahara, the Algarabía Youth Association and the Cordoba City Council.
