Ceuta, Melilla and the Rocks of North Africa

On the upcoming date of January 23 in Madrid, Fundación Sur has organized the round table discussion Ceuta, Melilla and the Rocks of North Africa 1912-2012, as part of the Centennial Series on the Spanish Protectorate in Morocco.

The event will be presided over by the Director of Fundación Sur, Lázaro Bustince, and moderated by the President of the Spanish Association of Africanists (AEA), Basilio Rodríguez. It will include speeches by Carlos Echeverría, a Professor of the UNED, Helena Cosano, a writer and diplomat, and Juan Manuel Riesgo, of the URJC Humanities Institute.

The round table discussion will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Fundación Sur headquarters (at c/Gaztambide, nº31). Free entry until capacity is full.
