#DesRumores 2015

Seminar by the “Anti-Rumors Network” of Andalusia, at which proposals were made to overcome prejudices, stereotypes and rumors about immigrants.

On the dates of June 18-19 in Cordoba (at Calle Reyes Católicos, 6), the #DesRumores2015 seminar is being held. It is a meeting point designed to take a closer look at and debate over prejudices, stereotypes and rumors that affect migrant populations and groups, as well as promoting learning through good practices that help put a stop to and counteract rumors while improving peaceful co-existence with diversity throughout Andalusia.
 
The seminar includes two days of multifaceted events, with 15 guest speakers and organizations that will be sharing their experiences and knowledge, including the anti-rumor initiatives carried out in Barcelona and Tenerife, which have been acknowledged for their success in reducing this barrier to intercultural co-existence. Other organizations and experts will also be participating, along with those people in Andalusia who are interested in acting as rumor-stopping agents.
